ABOUT ME
I'm Arina, a filmmaker with a passion for sound, born in the cultural hub of Saint Petersburg, Russia, and now calling Dublin, Ireland home. My cinematic journey began at Griffith College, where I pursued a BA in Film, TV, and Screen Media Production.

From the start, I immersed myself in filmmaking, initially exploring various roles, from Assistant Camera to Assistant Director and Director. It wasn't until I discovered the captivating world of sound that I truly found my niche. Drawing from my early experiences with music and a natural sensitivity to the sonic environment, I realised that sound was my true calling.

Proficient in the art of sound production, I wield a keen understanding of sound equipment, recorders, and microphones. My ears are finely attuned to capture every nuanced detail. With a background spanning feature and short films, I've honed my skills to elevate the auditory experience.

In my view, sound is often underestimated in film, despite contributing 50% to the overall experience. As a boom operator, my goal is to capture every subtle nuance in dialogue. In post-production, I take pride in elevating recorded sound to an industry-standard level, infusing creativity and complementarity into my sound design.

One of my strengths lies in my ability to communicate in multiple languages. This linguistic versatility proves invaluable in international crews, facilitating seamless understanding and collaboration.
Join me on this sonic journey as we unravel the intricacies of storytelling through the power of sound.
